Dear Friends,
May is a month of celebration, recognition, and gratitude — and this year I want to take a moment to honor two important occasions that speak directly to the heart of what Clark County is all about.

May Day: Celebrating the Workers Who Built Our Community
Today, May 1st, we celebrate International Workers’ Day — a day dedicated to the men and women whose daily dedication keeps our community running. From the frontline workers who serve our residents every day to the public servants who show up quietly and consistently, this day belongs to you.
As your Clark County Clerk for the past 11 years, I have had the privilege of serving alongside some of the most dedicated public servants in Nevada. I know firsthand that good governance is built on the backs of people who care — people who show up, do the work, and make a difference without asking for recognition.
Today I recognize you. Your work matters. Clark County is stronger because of you.
AANHPI Heritage Month: Honoring the Contributions That Shape Us
May is also Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month — a time to celebrate the rich culture, history, and achievements of the AANHPI community right here in Clark County.
Our community is diverse, vibrant, and strong — and the AANHPI community is a vital part of that strength. From business owners to educators, healthcare workers to community leaders, the contributions of our AANHPI neighbors have shaped Clark County in ways that deserve to be honored not just this month, but every month.
As your Clerk, I am committed to an office that serves every member of our community with transparency, respect, and accessibility. That commitment does not waver — regardless of background, language, or zip code.
Looking Ahead
This month and every month, my focus remains the same: constituent services, government transparency, and economic vitality for every resident of Clark County.
I am proud to serve this community. And I am asking for your continued support as we work together toward a Clark County that works for everyone.
With gratitude, Lynn Marie Goya Clark County Clerk
