During my term in office, I have been very proud of our accomplishments and the local, regional and national recognition the office has received. We have won awards for reducing our environmental footprint; streamlining services; saving taxpayer dollars; rebranding the Las Vegas wedding from a drunken mistake to one of glamour, excitement and ease; improving government transparency and expanding constituent services. To support our 24/7 local workforce, I opened up passport applications at the Marriage License Bureau until 10 p.m. seven days per week.
But, the office is also in the middle of finalizing many of our long-term projects including:
- Making our records available online for our constituents and the media.
- Expanding international wedding tourism partnerships.
- Saving taxpayer money by streamlining services to make every service this office provides faster, more accessible, and more transparent.
I’m not done working for you. I hope you’re not done with me yet either.
